Quito, Ecuador

In 1973,John and Mary Ann went to Quito, Ecuador, to open the second Assembly of God work in the south of the city.
Preparing the lot, building the platform, and stringing the lights involved many willing hands.

Our helper and future pastor was Rodrigo Valencia, and he later became a colleague in Guayaquil where we helped him begin the first Latin American Childcare School in Ecuador.
Carolyn Davids accompanied us on this trip to help with the music. It was a delight to have her, and she was a real blessing.

It is always exciting to see a new church born and this was no exception. God blessed abundantly in spite of rainy weather in our outdoor location. What a joy it is to introduce Jesus to those who need Him!
